I've been keeping an eye on this character for a little while, trying to determine definitively what the plans are. A new Facebook page was launched for him over the weekend so this seemed like a good time to mention him.
The North Shield, aka Philip D Mackenzie, Bio engineer/bodybuilder from Twillingate Newfoundland gains superhuman strength and other abilities through (an) accident at his lab in Toronto and is aided by a retired WW 2 french Canadian superhero and a secret government agency. Now The North Shield uses his powers to shield people from dangerous situations.
